Mission

The Goose Bay Reclamation Corporation (GBRC) is focused on the restoration and preservation of natural fish and wildlife habitats in and around Goose Bay for the purpose of maintaining the Bay as a premier wildlife, fishing and watersports area for river residents and visitors. GBRC’s efforts are focused on reversing degradation of the Bay by mitigation of invasive aquatic species such as eurasian milfoil and cattail and by reestablishment of natural water flow through the Bay. GBRC coordinates with local, state and federal governments while soliciting private and government resources to support these efforts.
